REINING/PLEASURE PADS are slightly heavier than our ranch pads and are tightly woven in one of our many copyrighted hand drawn patterns. Our patterns are simple zig zag, square, line, & dash type patterns but don't let that fool you! Our Reining/Pleasure patterns are gorgeous and offer intricate designs. These are typically the first choice of reining & pleasure riders, hence the name! These pads are between 8-10 lbs each making them about 3/4 inch thick. These are made to be used over your work pad but some riders choose to opt for a thinner "pad liner" style pad for a closer contact feel. These also come standard with a stamped wear leather with the Saguaro Show Pad logo to protect the fine woven yarn from the cinch.

NO! Despite being called a "reining/pleasure" style pad, these pads are highly versatile and can be used for any western events. Our blankets have been used for barrel racing, trail riding, mounted shooting, & more alongside reining and western pleasure! These are also popular in ranch riding but remember, no metallics are allowed in ranch riding!
