REINING/PLEASURE PADS are slightly heavier than our ranch pads and are tightly woven in one of our many copyrighted hand drawn patterns. Our patterns are simple zig zag, square, line, & dash type patterns but don't let that fool you! Our Reining/Pleasure patterns are gorgeous and offer intricate designs. These are typically the first choice of reining & pleasure riders, hence the name! These pads are between 8-10 lbs each making them about 3/4 inch thick. These are made to be used over your work pad but some riders choose to opt for a thinner "pad liner" style pad for a closer contact feel. These also come standard with a stamped wear leather with the Saguaro Show Pad logo to protect the fine woven yarn from the cinch.
Absolutely! Just make sure that you select a pad with no metallic thread if you are going to be showing in ranch horse!

I was just able to use the pad today and put it up on my AQHA Chestnut Gelding, Brody. We were both (my friend, Hannah) surprised at how well it fit under my saddle, beautifully made, and vibrant colors. I wish I had been able to wear the turquoise shirt I bought to go with it, but we only got to 50 degrees and rain, however the turquoise sweatshirt brought out all the colors. Very happy with this pad!
This pad is beautiful. Bought two new Stormcloud shirts, an orange and a purple. When I saw this pad I had to have it! Pretty sure I will stand out in the crowd. Ready for Fall shows for sure.
