FAQs

RANCH PADS are woven on a different type handloom that allows the weaver to create more intricate pattern changes. This is how we manage to offer unique Navajo type patterns for our ranch style pads. This style of hand looming is truly a work of art making these take longer to be made and making them cost a little more due to them being more labor intensive. Our ranch pads weigh around 3-6 lbs varying by pattern and size and less than 1/2" thick allowing for a close contact feel. Since these are most popular among smaller breed cowhorse, ranch, and reining type horses, we mostly stock our ranch pads in smaller sizes to accommodate them. However, ranch pads are growing in popularity among pleasure and western dressage disciplines. Don't let the name "Ranch" pad deter you. Choose what makes you feel good! These can be used for whatever discipline you want.

NO! Despite being called a ranch pad, these uniquely patterned southwestern blankets can be used in any western setting!
